Rydon is a successful construction, development, maintenance, investment and management group operating throughout London and the South of England. Rydon was formed in 1978, with headquarters in Forest Row, East Sussex, and principal offices in East Grinstead, Bristol and Dartford. We are a multi talented organisation, working across a wide range of market sectors within the built environment, currently employing 580 people.

Four principal companies operate within the Group providing the major part of the service delivery; Rydon Maintenance, Rydon Construction, Rydon Homes and Ryhurst.

Rydon Construction is a construction and development company, carrying out works that include social housing, health and education projects, urban regeneration, PFI and LIFT schemes, including projects involving decontamination and ground remediation.

Rydon has experience of Modern Methods of Construction, off site manufacture and of working to the Code for Sustainable Homes and BREEAM standards.

We know the importance of the work we carry out and the impact it can have on the local community and we seek to positively effect all communities we work within through our company CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility).

Rydon Maintenance is a refurbishment and hard FM provider to housing associations, local authorities, NHS Trusts and the education sector.

Refurbishment - Rydon has over 18 years experience of successfully undertaking refurbishment and regeneration schemes, covering envelope upgrades and repairs, as well as internal refurbishment works. We have a specialist team dealing exclusively with this type of work. We have been closely involved with a number of Registered Providers working on the Government's Decent Homes programme; the value of this work has been on schemes ranging from £1 million to £67 million.

We specialise in the technology and skills required to deliver the future low-carbon refurbishment which will be necessary if the country is to meet its commitments to a reduction in carbon emissions. Our total commitment to community driven solutions and to incorporating low carbon technology into our programmes is helping to establish us as industry leaders in this field through programmes such as Relish and the Future Fit Forum, all carried out with residents in occupation.

Hard Facilities Management - Areas of operation include reactive and voids maintenance, planned preventative maintenance, lifecycle works, alterations and small works.

We have established a strong reputation as a provider of high quality maintenance services to social housing landlords throughout the South of England, where we currently maintain over 40,000 properties, and to NHS Trusts throughout England.

Rydon Homes is an established and well respected development company with many years experience in creating highly sought after homes in the South East.

Ryhurst is a specialist provider of land and asset solutions to the health and social care markets. They have a successful background of delivering through PFI and LIFT since 1996, and are currently innovating through the development of a Service Targeted Estate Partnership (STEP) joint venture programme; the first of which is now in place with Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust (LCFT), the Mental Health Trust for the County of Lancashire.
